Booking Terms & Conditions

Covid up-date: We are very pleased to welcome you back to Beach Belle and beautiful Gwithian. Following Government advice and Airbnb protocols, we have put a number of safety measures in place, including leaving one day between bookings and stringent cleaning. Please contact Lisa for information on covid cancellation policies and cleaning protocols.

Reservation and Booking: You can book the chalet with Airbnb under Airbnb’s full terms and conditions. To reserve your holiday directly, please call 07775 520 935 or email info@cornishbeachbelle.co.uk and fill in our booking request form found on the site under the ‘Book Directly’ button. If the booking is accepted, the full amount is due if your booking is within two months of your holiday start date. For bookings made more than two months before your holiday, a deposit of £200 is due. The balance is then due two months before the start of your holiday. Bookings are only confirmed on receipt of the deposit.

Booking Conditions Agreement: This hire agreement shall be between you (the lead guest) and the property owner, Lisa. You must be one of the guests staying at the chalet and you must be over 21. You will be responsible for making sure the terms of the booking are kept, and you must not part with possession of the property or share it except with members of the booking party. Bookings are not transferable.

Guest Capacity: The chalet has a maximum capacity of 5 guests with a maximum of 2 adults. Each person needs to be named at booking.

Availability: This contract is made on the understanding that the property will be available for you for the dates stated. In the unlikely event that it is not, through no fault of the owner, the property owner may be forced to cancel the booking. You will be advised as early as possible and all money so far paid by you will be refunded in full. You will have no further claims against the property owner.

Use of the BBQ and outside toy box: use of the BBQ and the toy box and toys is at the sole risk and responsibility of the guests.

Neighbours: Please be respectful of our neighbours. The guests must not be a nuisance to occupants of neighbouring properties. Excessive noise, offensive or illegal behaviour will lead to you being asked to leave the property without a refund.

Occupation Times: The hire period commences after 2pm on the start date of the holiday and terminates at 10am on the finish date.

Damage: All bookings are accepted on the understanding that the property is left clean and tidy and all breakages and damage are paid for by you. All damage and breakages must be reported during your stay so we have time to replace or repair before the next booking.

Access: The property owner or their representatives shall be allowed access to the property at any reasonable time during the letting period.

Pets and Smoking: Dogs are not permitted and smoking is forbidden by law, including on the decking.

Personal Belongings: Baggage and personal items are at the guests’ risk and no responsibility can be accepted by the property owner for any loss or damage.

Parking: Parking for up to 2 cars is allowed at the side and back of the chalet. Please drive slowly and carefully.

Insurance: We recommend that you take out personal insurance to cover such events as loss, damage and cancellation.

Cancellation: In the event of you cancelling the holiday, Lisa will endeavour to re-let the chalet and if successful will refund the balance, less deposit. If the property is not re-let, then no money will be repaid.

Data protection: By booking with us directly, you agree to us keeping the personal data you have provided us for our records. We will only use this data to fulfil our service to you, to provide short term letting accommodation and we will not share your data with any 3rd party unless required to do so by UK law.
